Met a guy online, we decided to meet for coffee in the afternoon. 3 hours before we were supposed to meet, he asked if we could reschedule because his dog got sick. I said that's fine. He then told me he's meeting a friend later that evening, so he asked if we could meet up afterward, around 7 or 8. I said 8 would be fine. I didn't hear from him afterward regarding where to meet up; around 7:40 or so, I texted him to see where I'm supposed to meet. He then replies, "Oh, you want to meet? How about at ***, at 9pm". By then, I'm kinda annoyed about this whole thing! I felt like I wasted a day because of this. He said 9 because he was still with his friend. I asked him if he'd been drinking with his buddy, and he said yes. I'm sorry, but I don't want to meet a date for the first time after he'd been drinking for a few hours. So I just told him to forget about it tonight, I'm not going out.
It's different if we'd been going out for a while, but a first date? When whe haven't even met yet, and he's like this? Do I give him another chance?
