Do I initiate the first kiss?

I had a first date with a guy a few days ago and we didn’t kiss. We hugged and snuggled for the majority of the date, but there was no kiss. I will be seeing him again tomorrow. We had so many perfect times to kiss on the first date but, ironically, I didn’t feel like he wanted to kiss me :( I felt like he wanted to take things slow. So our second date is tomorrow, should I go for the kiss? When? How?

Hey! We actually kissed... a lot. For the first kiss we had a lot working up to it. We basically cuddled watching a movie and then it just happened... we made out for the rest of the night 😂 just a little update.

It may not be that he doesn't want to kiss you, it may be that he's not ready yet. Maybe he's not one to kiss on the first date, or he doesn't want to come on too strong. Look for the signs and consider what you know of his personality: is he shy? Is he kinda conservative (in actions, not politics)? He may be wanting you to make the first move. See how much you can judge from his actions and reactions, and if you really can't read him, you can just ask "would it be okay if I kissed you now?". It's not especially romantic, but it does for socio-sexual tension what the guillotine does for dandruff.
