I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a week now and this is my first relationship soo I have very little knowledge about these things. When should a first kiss happen and how? Any tips?
This just totally depends on the relationship and people involved. Relationships should move at their own place not too fast and not too slow, and what a place for a individual relationship is. Just depends.

Back in my day... there would be an expectation of a Kiss on the first date. Not necessarily a "make out session", but a kiss goodnight. My first date was June 21, 1985. I was so nervous I almost didn't try and kiss her. It was just one kiss goodnight, but wow was it great.
I accidentally got out my car and kissed my date on the lips... and it was our first day talking first time meeting oops... kind of a habit as I'm used to being forward with guys

There is no kiss schedule. When it feels right, just do it. Could be first date... or tenth date... up to the two of you.

When it feels right is the answer. That is a feeling of affection between you. Cheek kisses are often cheek touches but can be kisses on the cheek. A kiss on the lips can be just a peck or a tongue down the throat.
You have some control on the nature of the kiss.
I would say when you've hung out a few times and actually start feeling something for each other. The first stage is just getting to know each other, so don't be in a rush to jump to the kissing part.
Personally I've never made it into a relationship without having kissed her first, but it's not a baking recipe. It happens at whatever stage you two are comfortable with.
