I am having a crush on my team head may be he likes me too we often to chats phone calls also we talk for hours in office how should I propose him?

I don't know he wants that way or not but he is so charming and nice to me and we talk ecah in a day at least for 6-7 hours we often go for coffee also but we have not considered it as date but it looks like should I propose if yes how should I do? I am very shy type person
