I think 25-30. But, if you're mooching off of them, that's loser-behaviour in itself at any age. But if you're paying the bills, supporting them, being respectful under their house rules, then it's okay. Plus housing and living on your own especially during college is expensive, so it's reasonable.

As long are you are not being dependent on them to financially support you as an adult its fine. You could be saving up to move out, you might want to be there for your parents because they're getting old. There can be multiple reasons. As long as you are contributing towards running the house (bills, groceries, chores) and have your career going on too and are not being a burden on them its fine.

There's a difference between someone who lives with their parents because they have no drive to work or do anything, and those who have a job and direction, but need some more money before they can move out. Property prices around where I live are expensive, so it's socially acceptable to be living with your parents in your late twenties. Above 30, not so much.

I would say under normal circumstances 18-20 you should be on your own, I dated a guy that was 30 and still lived at home it was only due to the fact that his mother needed a bunch of medical care and he had to drive her to and form a few times a week.

If your parents raised you right, you should be ready to leave by then anyway. You've taken up enough of your parent's time. So any age after 18 is too old to live with your parents. In case you are nurtured with love and care it becomes your duty to live with your parents.

if you're single you won't feel the incentive to move out, even if you had a job, license etc, when people meet someone, even if it isn't everlasting love, the incentive to move out increases

@NatalieKeller95 it depends on what your values are I guess. I have a girlfriend and I don't have the nagging feeling to move out, at least not because I have a partner. For me it's just because of the high standards I set for myself.
