Only you can answer that one and it depends on where you are in life.

If you are currently attending a post secondary school or just finished then living at home with your parents is fine. Everyone needs a little time to get on their feet.

If you haven't been to college or university since High School, working part-time and partying every weekend with your friends, then it's time take the next step and fledge the nest.

The whole staying home and saving up for down payment to own a house, is fine, if you are paying your parents rent to at least cover the cost of food and utilities. It's not their job to make sure you smoothly transition to owning a home and have a similar life style at home.

I'm sure there's many older or many even in sharing houses aka housemates, flat mates, roommates, even long into their 20s or 30s
Some may find it slightly funny, but there ya go, people and the generations today, have to make do with the living arrangements they have or are happy to have. Whether that's shared rent, living at home with parents to 40, lol, or living on campus dorms as a mature aged student well into his 30s, shrugs 🙃👍😊

No it isn't. I left my mom's house when I was 30. And that was back in 2018 when inflation wasn't as bad as it is now.
