Guys, Do some guys try to impress their crush through selfies on social media? does that happen?

I’ve noticed that some guys really post a lot of selfies on online.

I personally try to avoid taking selfies, as they tend to be less flattering than a real picture. I've also heard that girls hate them. However, if a guy posts a selfie at the gym, he is definitely trying to impress.

With a public post, it is generally not targeted to one specific person. In this case, the guy is posting selfies for the same reason that most girl post cute selfies for: to get emotionally/sexually validated by the people who follow them.

It's possible. More likely overly confident and wants people to tell him he looks great for a bit of an ego boost, or he just thinks girls are into that kind of thing. Note: It could be nothing of the sort. I don't want to jump to any conclusions since I have not seen the pictures.

Tell me ur honest opinion. Me and him have had brief conversations on Instagram and they’ve all happened by him replying to my story and me replying to his. He initiated contact three times consecutively and then I initiated contact this last time. We’ve talked from time to time not regularly. Our last conversation was a month ago that I initiated. Shortly After our last conversation he started this attention seeking behavior (posting a lot more frequently pics). Do you think he’s seeking my attention lol?

Ask him if he is interested! But only if you are interested. It is possible that the pictures were meant for you. (Guys love it when they aren't the ones that have to make the "first move") He might not know if you are interested, so he might not have felt brave enough to be direct. Good luck!

It's a possibility. I personally would not, but to each their own. I still think that if you like him, you should ask. The worst that he can do is say no, right?

I have 0 selfies, i would say not every guy is doing selfies and if they are doing it, maybe it is for them not really to impress anyone
