A cis person is someone who identifies as the sex they were born as which is most of the population. They are NOT transgender. I don't understand why people are confused. Cis female= born a female identifies as a female. She has had a vagina since birth. Cis male= born a male identifies as a male. He has a dick since birth.

Who the hell comes up with this stuff? I think 30 years ago the world and everyone in it were just fine. Now we have to invent something for everyone to be so we can label them something and the shrinks can extort money from them so they can feel better about themselves. Back in the 80's she would have been called that chick with the husky voice. None of us had a problem with it. She had an athlete's body and could drink more beer than any of us. She even out threw me in the javelin and the shotput. God I miss that woman. She met a 30 year old man out of high school and opened up a string of nurseries. Skinny me couldn't match that one. I loved her voice. Not high and nasal like most American women.

Okay, I realize I'm going to get hate for this comment... Transgender is a myth. You are either a male or a female period. Which means cis-female/did-make also do not exist. Anyone who believes that God gave them the wrong body... Has a mental illnesses that needs medication and counseling. I understand that but I also gave two definitions. One in the "add information (or whatever it's called)" section and an even simpler definition in the update. So I assumed people would understand what I meant after I told them the definition of it. Like I said under other comments, I didn't just say plain "male or female" because I didn't want anyone to assume that a girl with a deep voice was secretly born a man and vice versa. I'm not sure why anyone would be confused after I gave them two definitions unless they didn't read.

I'd have to hear it to be sure. But yeah, I generally am not a fan of deep voices for women. Although, it would probably have to be pretty bad for it to be a deal breaker on its own.

I don't know who came up with it. A cis person is someone who identifies as the sex they were given at birth which is you and most of the population. I didn't want anyone to think that if a person has a masculine/feminine voice that they're trans. They're a female with a deep voice who was born a female or a male with a high voice who identifies as a male. They're not trans.

I don't see myself finding someone like that attractive because that kind of deep voice would mean she has hormonal issues causing other virilizing features, like say, excessive facial hair and male pattern body hair and maybe even male pattern baldness, could be obese and have PCOS as well. 🤷🏻‍♂️ That's a whole list of things to think of, maybe that's just me.

I know there's nothing wrong with it, just sick of hearing that word is all. But just because either gender has lower/higher pitch voice than most, doesn't necessarily mean they are/were cis. Everyone has different pitches and tones to their voice, regardless of gender.

It's just that some people associate certain voices with a certain gender and I wanted to see how many people would actually date someone whose voice is not generally associated with their assigned sex. Some people think that if a woman (born a female) has a deep voice that she's a man and that that makes her unattractive and undateable and vice versa.

Personally, I would probably date a woman with a voice slightly deeper than most. Not always a cis, might be natural to her. Not every woman is gonna sound freaking glamorous like Beyonce or Celine Dion or Amy Lee.
