Why are British men attractive to American women but British women aren't attractive to American men?

Whenever you hear about a Brit dating an American, 9 times out of 10 it's always a British man dating an American woman, almost never the reverse. Even in American culture, English accents on men are highly prized and considered "classy" and "sexy", but not on English women. There are enough hot English actresses known in the U. S. to make the British woman her own "myth" if you will (Emma Watson, Kate Beckinsale, Game of Thrones women) but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference in practice. Can an American man explain this to me?

I don't like British people because I think they are too arrogant. I remember watching interviews of Emily Blunt and she was just full of herself badmouthing American culture. To me that arrogance is the biggest turn off. Furthermore, British people are not known for their looks. Typically it is more Scandinavian or Eastern European women that are famous for their looks.
Also the British accent sometimes sounds too smart and scholarly that's not an attribute men normally desire from women. For me personally as a minority growing up in the U. S. I don't see the appeal of British culture unless I'm white and I just want to go to another country where white people are in charge. But other than that reason I feel like the accent, culture, architecture is all not that appealing in the UK sorry just my personal impression

Well, aside from attractive British actresses like Kate Beckinsale, Keira Knighley, Emily Blunt, and Lena Headey, most British women tend to be very left-leaning and most Americans who don't live on the coasts or big cities, don't like that at all. Besides that though, I have no clue. It's more of indifference to British women than dislike.

Since when has British women NOT appealed to men? I thought men liked the whole "being a lady" stereotype that British women had. And the accent can be really nice

We aren't.

I've dated many a different race and nationality, but never American. Just doesn't appeal to me. Not only because the accent grinds my gears but just the sheer vapid mentality of them makes me feel leeched.

As for British men going American, I suppose they feel American girls are "easy" - as per the porn and film stereotypes.

British accent is ugly and British culture is overrated. Besides way more people move to the U. S. than the U. K. anyway.

Gosh, I wonder why? Could it be something wrong with the women? Can't imagine British women as a British man being stuck up and trashy or anything like that? No never.
Bottom line: British men are actually really wonderful and at the top of the like scale women though are stuck up, picky, have ridiculous standards 6ft tall dark and handsome, 6 figure salary. Insulting a man when he asks her out because he doesn't have her impossible standards. No one wants them plain and simple.

I know a lot of British women who are attracted to American men/women, and a few British guys are not attracted to American women, it just depends on the type of preferences they each have

This is a fantastic question but I don't have the answer, I'm an American guy and I have the biggest desires for British women but I've never found a British women who finds us as desirable
