Do British men like American women?

British men, what's your take on American women?

Now I know that love is blind, but British men on here, would you date a American girl is she was pretty and had a nice body?

I just love Britain and British culture and how I't so proper. I'm very old fashioned. My mother and her mother are very traditional and do a lot of things in the "old ways." We love watching Downton Abbey and my favorite novel and movie are British.

Now I guess if I didn't speak English in the first place, this probably wouldn't be. hehe

But yeah. I'd love to move from America. I love to ride horses and I would love to train with the British riders. They are the one of the best horsemen

And sorry but American women don't do it for me. The usual American accent just isn't very attractive (though an old fashioned southern US accent...now that could excite me) and the brash personality is a turn off.

Thats not to say I would never consider an American woman. Nationality is just a small part of who a person is and the best suited girl in the world for me could happen to be American. But given no other information than nationality than the US would be near the bottom of my list (along with British :p).

Other British guys and their views of Americans...hmm...American girls have a bit of an 'easy' reputation which excites a certain kind of guy and of course there are Amerophiles in every country. Generally I'd say British guys are kind of indifferent, somewhat negatively leaning, towards US girls.

(note- I am actually friends with a lot of American women. Nothing at all against them as people.)

I love American women. But being American, doesn't bar you from certain threshold attractiveness requirements. ie, not being obnoxious, being open minded, having a basic grasp of irony and being able to make fun of yourself, and keeping in shape, etc. So in reality, bearing all this in mind, I like some Americans. There's a lot of entitled irritants, spoilt brats, who can't see much outside their narrow frame of reality, as this site aptly illustrates...

It's always fun to contrast two cultures. There's a lot to admire about them. They genuinely seem more wholesome and unafraid to show their emotions. We have a far more cynical and jaded culture. Difference in sense of humour. Different ways of speaking. Plus I like their A4 paper white teeth :D

The majority of British girls I've met were proper ladies on the outside but quite "easy" and kinky in reality. Also VERY sharp-tongued and funny which was quite endearing. For an average American girl to come up with that quality of shit, she'd need a team of writers, plus rehearsals.

So it is possible British men may eventually find you a dull, bland prude whereas you're "normal" in the USA. And you would face stiff competition from local females.
