How to respond to "Im thinking about you x" ?

She send me that message after apologizing for being a little bit distant for 2 days. I answered to her apologies by saying "it's fine, I hope that everything is alright. I've been busy this past few days" and told her "I've thinking about you too E ❤️" is that clingy or a good answer?

I don’t know I don’t think I would have said that it doesn’t match the situation. I think I would have said, the first parts of what you said then said after it, if you need to talk to someone or need anything just let me know, I’m always here for you. I’m thinking about you just sounds like flirty statement if she’s going through a tough time, that won’t be interpreted in a good way. She needs someone to be there for her if she’s being distant she could be going through something, if you like her you need to showcase that you can be a sensitive guy to her in any time of need.
