Most of my dates themselves were good experiences. Most of the problems mainly took place after the dates. Still, a few negative experiences do stand out. Arguably my worst dating experience happened about six years ago, a time before I met my current fiancee. One of my co-workers took an interest in me and asked me out. I thought he looked good and he was fun to talk to when we worked. During our lunch-breaks, he often gave me food and we usually ate together and chatted whenever we were in the breakroom at the same time. He planned to take me out to an all-you-can-eat buffet he recommended one night when we were both off work. I went out in a pretty tan strapless dress with matching heels, trying to make a good impression for my date to replace the image of me wearing a work uniform. After we chose our tables and gathered our first plates of food, things were great at first. We chatted, ate, and had a good time. Eventually, I wanted to get seconds. He asked me if I could make him a second plate as well and I agreed. An employee was mopping the floor near one of the buffet areas with a wet floor sign nearby. He even said, "Watch out, it's slippery over here."

Naturally, I just gently and carefully stepped to avoid slipping. However, when I finished fixing both plates and was headed back to the table, I slightly lost a bit of balance in my heels, causing me to slip on the wet floor. Because the floor was so wet, I couldn't balance and I fell, spilling food all over the floor and myself. On top of that, my dress even came down when I fell, but I hurried up and pulled it up. It was humiliating. To add insult to injury, some of the people watching me were laughing at me and weren't helping. Only the guy mopping helped me up. I spent the next few minutes in the bathroom trying to clean the food off my dress, but it was too stained up with food. When I exited the bathroom, my date was looking for me, wondering where I went. When I told him what happened, it was awkward. Other people were staring and I didn't feel like finishing the date because I was covered in food stains and wet spots. Other people were staring at me and still giggling about what happened too. He suggested to take me home instead, and he did. We went on another date that next week, which thankfully turned out to be a lot better. I kept my balance that time.

We were going to eat when we got pulled over by the police. He had a real fear look on his face. After shining the bright light on us, the police walked toward our car. My friend stepped out of the car and the police started asking questions. The friend had no driving license, no registration, and no insurance. This man drove 2 hours to me from NC to SC. I missed a part. When the police walked to our car, he, my friend shoved something in my hand. Weed! By this time 2 more police cars drove up. I have never been in a situation like this. I had no purse, no pockets, no nothing to hide it in. Finally, I was told to get out of the car. I was questioned and asked where I lived. I had the weed in my hand with my keys. So, all they heard was the jingling of keys. I was taken home by the police with weed in my hand! And he went to jail with his car getting impound.

This wasn't the worst but I thought it was funny in a fml kinda way. I started talking to a girl who I knew prior, she was bubbly around me, maybe that's just how she is. Anyways we both smoke weed, she said it would be cool to hang out n smoke. I know, not the best first date, but my schedule was tight so I'm all for it. She came over, we started catching up, I'm thinking this girl likes me at this point and I'm having a great time talking but I'm very nervous, after we smoke a full joint and a full blunt which I roll thick, about 5 grams total
So I'm feeling giggly as fuck but I'm still real nervous I didn't know what to do with myself or just let her know I'm interested, in hindsight I should have just said that but I put my arm around her and I asked "is this ok or is this weirld"🤦lol. She said she just wanted to be friends I said oh sorry I thought you were interested. We finished smoking and she left I was totally fine with smokin her out and I baught a bunch of snacks, don't get me wrong I had a great time and I don't regret it but at the same time I felt like she just robed me lmao. She was a sweetheart though I hold nothing against her I just thought it was funny as hell.

This didn't happen to me, but I remember this conversation vividly.

It was prom season so there were lots of high school dates in formal ware eating in restaurants. I happened to be standing in line next to a guy, so I mentioned the memories of your Sr. prom. The joy drained from his face and he said, "Yeah, I had a 5 minute prom. I got dressed, picked up my date, and entered the prom. Five minutes later she told me she wanted to hang out with her friends and left."

The guy must have been in his early 40's. He still remembers it and still causes him pain. It reasserted the concept of ensuring a date has a good time. I never want someone remember me they way this guy remembers his prom date.

We were sitting at the food court and this gorgeous woman about 25yo walks up, starts talking to him, tells him why is he with me the skinny no boobs girl, when he could go out with her?

My first date when I was 13. I took her to the movies which is like the worst place you could go on a first date. We only got to talk for like 5 minutes while getting tickets and popcorn and then we watched the movie and didn’t talk at all. Then when the movie was over we only talked for like 5 minutes before our parents picked us up. I was nervous af the whole way through and I think she was too lol. I ended up dating her friend after that and learned from my mistakes and took her to get ice cream which ended up going so much better.

my first ex, he wanted me to take his leftovers to my mom? He never wanted me to point out when he treated me poorly but would point out when I was stressed out as well as get mad that I'd tell him about things that would happen at work (which wasn't even a lot) and he also ridiculed me for what I'd wear and played the suicide card as well as sent me a video of him "overdosing" on pills to have me back. That was the worst and such an embarrassment of a "man"

Worst date ever had to be I picked up a girl I knew from highschool for our first date and we had talked for over a month.
She faked a migraine and after an hour and a half, she asked me to drive her home.
She told me in the car as much as I'm an amazing guy and wants to be with me, she's not over her ex and needed time.

Wasted 45 minutes one way and although she seemed genuine, she started driving em crazy and I blocked her
