What does it mean if a friend from work doesn’t text me outside of work?

Not necessary even best friends don’t text each other everyday because they get busy with their lives too

But we literally don’t talk at all outside of work. He texted me happy Thanksgiving which surprised me

I have a lot of coworkers at work but I never talk to them unless it’s related to work or something urgent. I don’t consider them friends because they’re not. What I am saying is that might respect you and talk to you about work but you not a friend to them.

I know so many people at work we talk about work only, but I don’t consider them my friends because I have best friends already. Those kinds of people don’t care to make friends because they’re there to work not to make friends or to get to know people on the other hand are other people who likes to get to know someone or be in a friendship with someone.

Yeah, a date with someone from work could be complicated if things end badly. Now that you are clear about your feelings you can try to find things in common and be friendly, like if he is a girl (to not confuse him about your intentions)
