Me and my crush literally talk on the phone nearly everyday, and in person, when we get the chance. (We r both in highschool). Anyways, he’s been giving mixed signals that he’s into me, I mean, even his friends tell me he does like me but still, I’m somewhat in denial. It’s the day before New Year’s Eve and I’m on the phone with him and his friend Eli (also my friend) he says to Eli that he has ‘exciting news’ and goes on to say “I think I might be staying over this girls house on New Years, at her house, alone”. immediately, I was shocked, then he goes on to say he’s been snapping this girl for about 4 months? I’ve known him for a year and we talk nearly everyday... (me and him don’t snap by the way because I don’t use snap) he’s told me before that he doesn’t like the idea of a ‘snapchat relationship’ and has also told me, he’s not ready to be in a relationship, especially while he’s in high school because he says they don’t last and it’s a waste of time, but he’s willing to settle down with the right girl and at the right time, yet he does this? So yeah, I’m really confused. Eli asks him if this girl is his ‘wifey’ he says, “I don’t know, yeah, maybe... no” I was completely silent during this whole conversation because I was just in total shock and I was heartbroken. During the whole time me and Eli were on the phone with him, we could hear his snap notifications going off and him texting her the whole time. But anyways, this is where it gets even more confusing and frustrating for me! It’s New Year’s Day 1-2 am and he sends me a text photo on Insta saying “I just fucked this chick” like why tell me? Is he trying to shove it in my face? I asked him who the chick is and he goes on to say “nah I’m not saying it’s not my place to go around and tell people that kind of stuff” I left him on read after that and then cried the night lol, great way to start 2021. So yeah tell me what u guys think he’s trying to do?
