Are rich guys really uptight, shallow snobs?

🧐 ... or is that with young rich guys?

My sister and dad says I should marry a rich guy but I'm goth ( feminine goth ), I enjoy my skulls and surreal horror art I paint. I dont earn large pay checks myself and debating on college to save money. I doubt they want me.

I only know one rich guy and he’s very insecure but very shallow at the same time. His father is worth millions, but I guess growing up in his fathers shadow makes him super insecure. But because he is in the public eye and because he’s around other wealthy people I guess he feels the need to keep up appearances so he’s very shallow. He only dates Instagram models and specifically only white women even though he’s black. But I wouldn’t exactly call him a snob or uptight though. He is super out of touch with reality. He thinks that walking his own dog is hard work. But he’s also too much of a fuck up to be snobby. He’s fucked up academically, he’s fucked up business deals, and all he does is get high. He wants to measure up to his father, but he knows he’s a fuck up. At times he sort of comes off as sort of pathetic. I’m pretty sure he’s actually pretty depressed. Sometimes I even feel bad for him.

Don't marry somebody you can't be compatible with or want to be with. No matter what your sister and dad say, all they care about is using you for riches. Not because of what is best for you. Not all are bad men, but these days most can and will because they have what you don't. But if you don't want that type of person don't. I know rich people but not all of them are like that. You want somebody to like you for you, then you need to be with somebody who is similar to you regardless if they're rich or not. While I agree with what you into, I understand how you feel about that because I personally do not want to marry a rich man. But then again, I don't want to be with anyone anyway in this life. While your options may be extremely slim, there are guys out there, but you have to be careful as with anything else.

I wouldn't say rich guys are normally uptight, shallow, or snobbish.  Why would you listen to what your family says about marrying rich? That sounds like such a banal normie thing to say

Only the ones who become President. Seriously, though, not all rich guys are like that. They tend more to be that way because they can get away with it, but not everyone gets like that.

Most rich guys have special events to go to, cocktail parties, black tie events, corporate events, non-profit events etc. to have an immature SO (goth style clothing etc) simply won’t do.
