One night stand is you have 0 contacts and it was a 1 time thing. A fling is temporary and has an expiration timeframe. friends with benefits, is simply that. You act/PRETEND to be friends, but your just sex partners. That's all. You cannot change the rules whenever you wish. Especially for men who are in it for sex ONLY. Once you have sex, you only with him for sex. If you ask him for a relationship, he may dump you right there with no contact afterward. Think of it like cold soliciting for a business deal. What is the goal? To sell your product to the consumer. Unless you really need that deal and meet the quota, you move on to others who are bound to give you a SELL. That is exactly what you did in a way under contract.

Sex is a contract. He doesn't want to date you. And he assumes you knew the rules of that. You may still sleep around with men and have your partners.
