If a guy takes long to confirm plans (naturally a bad texter)?

So i’ve been texting a very slow/bad texter and we recently made plans. Even tho this guy texts slow, we were on the topic of what to do and eat for our meetup. I texted him to let me know what time and which location b/c since he is a slow texter i wanted to know his available time and place so we can quickly confirm. He hasn’t texted me back at all today and i’m thinking maybe he is thinking through with his schedule. But what annoys me is it feels like he doesn’t want to meet me or not excited but meeting me because i asked and he said yes. I feel like if a guy was really interested he would have at least texted me something like “hey i am caught up with work but will let you know tonight!” But getting no reply all day is kind of annoying and it makes me anxious about his interest level. I just don’t understand people who agree to hangout or go on a date but can’t even agree to confirming plans :/
