Texting an old fling? How?

Was seeing a guy, it faded with all the lockdowns last spring. Has been months since we last saw each other. I really like him and would love to start seeing him again. Not sure if he wants. How the hell do I ask him if he wants to meet in a way that does not sound too interested? I’m so scared to sound too interested as I believe guys don’t like that, rather the chase. I also fear rejection a lot.
Anyone who has experience in this? How did it go?

You have to decide here on what you really want to do. If you really like him, and you have seen each other until circumstance got in the way... I would seriously think that he still likes you as well. You really just need to be direct and slide back into talking to him like you used to. Just directly tell him you still like him and miss what you two used to have.
