I am not sure that putting others, regardless of their gender, on a pedestal is really good for anyone.

It is not good for the one putting the other on a pedestal because they lower their self-esteem and it is not good for the one that is put on the pedestal because that person becomes vain and superficial thinking that everything is possible by behaving a certain way.
