I don't mind them. But they are not something I can say I enjoy giving or receiving. I don't think that they are 'trashy' like some people do but I believe there is a place for them... Where no one can see them. To me, a hickey indicates how your relationship is. Some people only give them to their partners to "mark their territory". To me, if you put a hickey on your man/woman's neck or elsewhere where it can be seen, you are simply showing that the person is 'taken'. In my opinion, hickeys should be placed in spots where only you and your partner will see. Also, given that I am in Real Estate business, I believe that it is entirely unprofessional to have a hickey noticeable to your clients. So yes, hickeys are okay and sometimes I enjoy them, providing they are not visable to others.

Nope for receiving as well as giving them.
I've had my fair share of pretty strong hickeys and it's awkward not to mention a hassle to have to cover up then worry that people will notice and know that there's a hickey underneath. I wouldn't enjoy giving them either because we're both students/work quite a bit so.. I wouldn't want to make him deal with the same worries.

I haven't had one, but, given my career, I would not like to have one where it is visible. I'm in education, so I really don't want to explain to young children why I have a bruise on my neck. :) Someone where it can't be seen would be fine, though.

I love giving him hickeys (he generally has a neck covered in them) and I like being kissed and lightly bitten on my neck but I don't like hickeys there, so he gives me hickeys elsewhere.
