Short Guys, what is your best success story with women?

I'm 5'6/167 cm, and generally, women prefer tall men (Mostly in the West, according to some people).

Despite my height disadvantage, I have had relative success with women. The first was with a Brazilian tomboy who was 5'8, although she's not very important to this post. See, I have a guy friend who is a Yu-Gi-Oh player like me. Let's just call him "Coyote."

Coyote has a younger sister (24) who is dominant, not just in her love life and the bedroom, but in general. She's also 5'10 and a half, so she's 4 and a half inches than me, and 1 inch taller than Coyote (5'9 and a half). So we're gonna call her "Wolf."

Anyways, Wolf knows about me and has called me "Puppy" due to my shortness. And in case it wasn't obvious, she is the main reason why I'm writing this. Wolf actually considers my shortness cute, and has described me as handsome. What makes this better for me is that I'm not dominant in relationships, which would normally make attracting women hard for a man. But Wolf likes to be in charge, so this isn't a problem for me.

Yes, being short as a man WILL make dating or sex with women harder. But it's not impossible. There are some women out there who either don't care that you're short (As long as you're taller than them), don't care that you're short PERIOD, and even some women actually enjoy being taller!

So my question to my fellow short kings (5'7 and under) is, what is your biggest success story with women?

It depends on where you live. Where I'm from, it's pretty much impossible. Most (white or black) men are at least 6'0.5" or 6'1". Not even particularly tall, but still taller than me And most women are around 5'6" or so, which is still shorter than me, but not short enough for them to not want a guy at least 6'1" and up.

I'm not super-short, like 5'7" and under, but still short and not "tall enough" for most women I've ever hit on. I don't really have any "success stories" except for one.

My ex-fiancée was four and a half inches taller than me and one of the only women IN MY LIFE who didn't mind dating shorter than her. In fact, her "ideal man" to her - once I twisted her arm enough to get her that she must care about height *to some degree* instead of giving me the "height doesn't matter" crap - would be between 5'9" to 6'1", which is perplexing and confusing to me, because that's still shorter than she is. So her "perfect man" would still be shorter than her, and for some of the heights, short period. However, she was an exception to the rule. And quite frankly, weird, but in a really good way.

She was 191 cm without heels.

I can only think of four women since who don't mind dating short guys. Two of them are on this very site - @JosyJosy and @Dizzydesi - don't seem to have a problem with girl-sized men, which is still perplexing and the rare exception out there. One of them is a sexy Amazon herself and as powerful or more so than some men out there. And the other pretty much said she'd date a range that 95-98% of all men probably fall into.

The third girl is this Dutch girl I know. She's almost the same height as me; maybe a half inch shorter, which makes her quite tall for a girl and short for a guy. She's from the Land of Giants, and said all her female friends - three of them - were also her height as well, which is nearly six feet tall. She implied she was the tallest one, but the others were only maybe half an inch to an inch (1 to 3 cm) shorter than her. And recently, she told me she also didn't care about height whatsoever, either. In fact, she found it as bizarre for a woman to care about a man being tall as I did to find a woman NOT caring about a man being tall. Like, my mind was completely blown. Blue Screen of Death. I couldn't comprehend it. Especially since, when we were eating at this diner, the conversation came up.

We had met for the first time and she brought up how "I thought you were going to be much shorter than you ended up being. I told you were going to be 165 (five-foot-five) or so." I told her how I'm short back home in the US, and the conversation went from there. I actually found it deeply attractive that she was one of the few women who didn't want a tall guy, considering I'm always getting told I'm not tall enough for women I talk to, who generally end up being near my height, or taller.

So, I've talked to four women who don't care about height, albeit they probably say that in a "I have a wide range, but I still do care" kind of sense. I've never met a single one that "prefers" to date shorter than her, except one 5'10" blonde woman who was married to a 5'4" 40-something guy who either made six figures or was a small millionaire (worth one or two million, maybe) who implied she preferred small men because her ex was large and physically abusive or intimidating, and that dating a small man made her feel "safe." This woman was smoking hot for her mid to late 30s and had a FAT ass, too! She could easily have her pick of men, and she chose the short, balding, George Constanza type.

So while I've seen some rare cases of women choosing short guys like me over tall guys, 6'1" and over, I've only had one positive experience with it, myself. All the other girls I've dated were around my height, but still would've preferred I actually be over six feet instead of being as short as I really am.

I'm 162cm tall and I have managed to get with some women in the end.
My ex was 180cm tall, and my fiancée is 174cm. They didn't care about my height.
The biggest success however was with an ex colleague - 28 years old, around 165cm, she was only slightly taller than me.
Beautiful woman with a personality that flipflopped between being cool and nice and being a total b*tch.
She approached me to talk to me about some issue she was undergoing. I consoled her, dried her tears and then we kissed.
It didn't last though.

Well, I got some good news about my friend, although he's 5'11. He and his college friend plan on dating once the pandemic is over. She's 8 feet tall due to pituary gigantism, and athletic.

160 cm and my tallest girlfriend was 180cm. In fact all of my partners were taller than me by at least 2 inches. Personality definitely trumps height. It's about finding value in yourself first. Women will see that confidence and be drawn to it. Not all will so have to be able to handle that and not turn into one those gross incels.

Yeah, 5’5”ish... married now. His wife is a bit taller as have been his gfs. It’s never been a real issue that I know of. Me on the other hand, not so lucky in the girlfriend department.

I think “success with women” is a lot more than height. You focus on it instead of looking at the harder issues like confidence, or communication.
