So I’m on the spectrum but people can’t tell and when some guys find out they leave is it bad?

Possibly. It'd depend on how extreme it was for her. Every relationship requires making some adaptations and compensating for one another's limitations; here it'd just be more pronounced.

I'm not going to claim I have a deep understand of it, but my best friend has Asperger's; I've seen how people can react. It kinda makes you wonder why psychological experts decided that describing both the "functionally normal with a few quirks" and the "borderline catatonic" with the same phrase isn't the least bit confusing, and gives them all the information they need. I realize that every autist is an individual with their own needs, concerns, desires, and weaknesses (like everyone else, since they're, you know, HUMAN), but the breadth of the condition's effects makes me think having only the umbrella term isn't the best way to go forward.

I mean if people can't tell then you're not really so far in to be completely socially unavailable and I wouldn't run away over some medical examination that doesn't really change who you are.

So long as she was upfront about it no, I wouldn't care. Just be upfront about what it means (most people think that its an IQ thing when in reality its a social thing more often then not).

Depends on severity I guess. Generally I try not to date people with worse genetics but there's more to a person than a diagnosis. Autism is a pretty big umbrella term.

Yeah I would. Two of my cousin's are on the spectrum and one of them you can barely tell so I know a little about it.
