If a guy is hiding you (hangs up the phone) then he doesn't see you as a serious partner/relationship regardless of what he's said. He's cheating or has an unfinished relationship that he needs to keep you away from. For example he could be married or have another girlfriend.

The clothing thing, I wouldn't read too much into. There's too many possibilities there so don't overthink it.

I agree with him. With my experience with my exes my family or specifically my parents have too many comments to offer. I feel like if they stayed out of my last relationship i would have dumped her sooner. But because they like to guilt me in how i need to be this and how i should be this i lost 10 years of my life from that bitch.

If he can't treat her the same when they are together by themselves and with others I would say something to him if I was his girlfriend. If he can't / won't change his ways I'd dump him. It's like he's embarrassed to let others know he is seeing her. That's not a good way to treat a woman

I'd tell her to chill and for him to be mindful of appearing rude or weak.

Other than that I don't really see a problem.
The one about how she dresses makes perfect sense.
The one about the phone is probably just a "I prefer to keep my intimate conversations private".
I don't feel the need to tell anyone about a relationship I have, and I'd rather avoid even having the conversation all together.
