From my perspective as a man I would not care one bit. In fact I really don't mind how you turn up for a date. If I have already asked you out on a date it means that I find you physically attractive and would like to get to know the person underneath the beauty. Your appearance has already won me over.

That being said from your point of view I would say that you should turn up in whatever you find the most comfortable. A date is already hard enough without you worrying about how you look.
