Pairing between alpha man and high quality wife they are both a prize and will treat each other like gold. Note: only like 5% or less of men or women are in these categories. Alpha with low quality woman the alpha is the prize. This is a highly common relationship pairing due to shortage of high quality women. Alphas will usually be with these girls with the understanding they can cheat or otherwise misbehave however they want because they are the prize. He expects superior treatment with little in return or he will replace her with the snap of his fingers.

I've said this before and I say it again. It seems to me that many men in the world (especially on GAG) are simps who crave female validation to justify their pathetic existence. Don't get me wrong, I like women but honestly you are not special and are definitely not a 'prize' to be won. Any woman who thinks this way is not worthy of my time. Many women these days mistakenly believe that they are hot shit and have egos that stretch all the way to the moon. But I partially blame the simps for elevating women's egos to astronomical heights. It is because of these simps that women are lazy and apathetic when it comes to dating and relationships. And why wouldn't they be? Why would women these days lift a finger or put any real effort in dating/ relationships when the simps are all to eager to do all the of the work in order to 'win' them over.

Well first of all there have been times in my life where I had a whole much better attitude toward the whole men and women thing. I found myself a little sarcastic due to a couple of past relationships. So I will base my answer out of sarcasm; who is the prize? Seems like the one that is the prize, is the one that can brainwash you into thinking that they know what's best for you and them. The prize seems to take a dominant role in the relationship makes the other person feel like they can never add up. I hope in time and as time goes on I can become a lot of things, but one thing I don't want to be? A man crushing, man eating... PRIZE.
Every girl calls herself a prize, but in reality she probably feels unwell about the idea of dating a guy who she doesn't perceive as superior to herself, whether in status, intellect, looks, personality or character.
I suppose there are girls who are ok with being the settlers, but I don't doubt they are the minority. Women want to be the reachers.

If guys generally have to make an effort to pursue, then women are in that sense, but when you're actually in a relationship, both are, as both should care for each other.
If one's relationship is simply about making an effort to please your partner so they keep you, the other doesn't return the favour, then one should re-consider, because it takes two to make a work.
To a Real Man, the lady is the keeper of the prize. The problem is that these days women don't realise it.
Treasuring a woman is hardwired into the instincts of men. Modern "evolved" society (actually more de-evolved behaviour these days) tries to tell men to stop being Men.

Good men and women are the prize. Trash men and women are not. It's as simple as that.
Anybody who actually says that they're the prize are actually trash dating trash. A man who says "men are the prize" or a woman who says "women are the prize" is really saying "I'm the prize". It's as bad as a man unironically calling himself an "alpha male" or a woman calling herself a "queen".
The prize is a game. u only see a good card but u have to be lucky that it's actually good too. So u can lie to yourself and say everyone that wants to be a prize should just call themselves one. But once someone comes close they will find out if ur trash or not. So you are half the prize if u tell yourself you are. And you are the literal prize if u can back yourself up on it and actually bring value to the table doesn't matter what gender
The real prize is improving your self worth I don't consider a woman to be a prize trophy. I consider them someone who could share my life with. Those who act like they are a prize probably don't have much to offer anyway
Because of biology women get more attention, of course. The thing is that people overestimate their value just because they get some attention. But what is happening now is that women in mass are getting less retention. The prize relates to someone of value who you can keep around long-term.
I think it depends on the person. For example, a man might believe he is undesirable and if he ever does find a girlfriend then he will view her as the prize. The same goes for the woman.
If she is the prize and I chase her I am lowering my value. I demonstrate that I can be easily had and she has no reason to put effort into being with me. In my experience, Women want to date up. They want to be with high value men.
If the man sees the woman as low value he is likely to take her for granted.
In both cases, the person with the perceived higher value is in control and may start looking for someone better.
Women because their gametes are more scarce than the gametes of their male counterparts. This is a '' supply - demand'' issue and as everything in nature an issue of economy. But that does not mean as a man I am going to cater to their needs or apprach them to form a realtionship.

Personally I don't think that way but from an evolutionary perspective women are more valuable than the average man. However since women date up and not down the man is ususally the prize, not the women.

Deffs men, although the massive transfer of wealth from men to women through taxation and social programs often causes us to forget this fact. In a sense we are both the prize but I think men would have an easier time without women than vice versa
