Who cheats more, men or women? Well, men tend to cheat more than women, but there’s evidence the infidelity gap is closing. A lot of men feel it is their duty to spread their seed to every woman; so they will go from woman to woman having all kinds of sex, just to make sure they all have a chance at bearing their child. Then you also have the men who say they like variety, so they do a different woman every week, so they can keep their home marriage alive; problem with that is the risk of bringing home an unwanted disease and giving it to your wife, and any future children.

The ratio of men who only want one woman is higher than those who want to lay with every woman, but we tend to hear more about the sleep around men; then the on woman men.

This is one of those believed statistics where it can’t possibly be proven in it’s entirety but because a few very small and fairly inconclusive surveys were done sometime ago, for some reason, people seems to fully believe the narrative that those surveys intended to push; it’s actually fairly clever but the people that believe those things sure as shit aren’t

Men don’t cheat more. They’re just clueless beings. When women cheat, they’re damn good at hiding it. My ex thought I’d never find out he was cheating and there was pure evidence on his bitch’s Instagram. It could be because of the little gap between girls and guys in that chart. I believe guys start off loyal as a dog but the get hurt too and rejected too much throughout life and they stop caring. I believe its also the opposite for women and i think it shows on that graph. But at the end of the day we are both humans with natural human needs trying to make sense of them with unnatural man made rules such as monogamy and marriage and such and they don't mix well. Also the lure of something being taboo is not to be underestimated!

In America - probably because muslims bump up those numbers.
Islam allows, even demands polygamy for a man to socially 'proven'/validated - so they believe cheating is totally within their rights (mostly Blacks but also some Latinos who are middle eastern by origin)

The thing is, if I'm in a monogamous relationship it's because I choose to be monogamous. Yes, I will still be attracted to other women; ai may even fantasize about them from time to time, but being commotted rewuires resisting temptation. I'm not a Saint, but self-discipline is what separates men from boys.

Just like some women they are just not happy with their partners. Some guys just dont know how to keep it in their pants. Some guys feel all relationships should be open relationships. Others are just shady and dont care. Many dumb and lame reasons.

There is never a good enough excuse to cheat period.

I suppose it's an advantage. Some men don't cheat at all, how much of the population that is I couldn't tell you. I think it's just as likely but they cheat for different reasons.

Guys are also still seen as a stud when they can pull a lot of women, while women are seen as sluts, so society pushes men in this direction too.

This depends on age group 18 to 29 years old women cheat 11% to men's 10% but overall men do cheat more so my only guess is the reason is when we get older it's easier for us to attract women

We don't. Divorce lawyers will tell you it's about 50-50. I don't think men cheat more. The men that most women are attracted to cheat more because they have options all over the place. That's because like 95% of women go after the 10% of men who are $100k + dudes. Those dudes cheat all the time, but I bet if you looked at the cross section, you would see men who cheat, cheat a lot. More women will cheat with those men and many are happy to do it.

The reason there is a gender cheating gap later in life is due to the fact women start to outnumber men around 38/39 and the imbalance grows over time.

Men are more brazen about it. I think women also find ways to justify their cheating more. Like "oh, this isn't really cheating because of ____."
