Why do men cheat?

I was in a realtionship for 12 months, and honestly everything was fine for the most part (obviously we bickered here and there like every couple). He did have commitment issues I knew about but it didn't deter him from the relationship. I found out that he has been talking to someone else for 5 weeks and god only knows what else. Why do men cheat even if nothing is wrong in the relationship? I am blaming myself!

Don’t blame yourself because many people who cheat will make it sound like it’s your fault when nobody ever forced them to cheat. If someone’s unhappy leave the relationship but many people are cowards as well as cheat to find someone else to jump over to.

Nothing will ever be good enough for these type of individuals just remember that. Nothing…. You can be the best girlfriend the world has ever known it will never be good enough as well as still be your fault.

Is anyone perfect including you? No absolutely not every relationship has issues sometimes they can be worked through and sometimes it marks the end of the relationship.

God does only know who else someone’s talking to. Because many times once you catch someone they have done it many times before unless you’re really lucky or they are super clumsy. Most people are extremely careful not to get caught at first until they get away with it so many times they become reckless and sometimes even brazen when it gets to the point they don’t care anymore.

People cheat for many reasons. People who aren’t dark personalities feel horrible for it but they get led into temptation. They see someone they find attractive and get carried away at the right place as well as the right time.

Dark personality’s on the other hand are a different story. That’s a whole other ballgame right there… They cheat because they cannot form genuine connections. They love you for what you can do for them, for how they make you feel, but don’t really love you. So they will cheat in all increments of a relationship including during the times you think it’s going good.

Because sex to them is just sex. They like messing around and having other options. It feeds their ego. It’s fun for them. As well as they just genuinely get off on betraying you and hurting you.

Dark personality’s just cheat it’s who they are it’s what they do. They have no integrity they will try to look like a good person for keeping up appearances but that’s all it is. They are massive hypocrites and they do what they want to do.

It’s not your fault you didn’t crawl into his brain and make him cheat. He did that on his own. I know for people who aren’t bad people that’s hard to understand but their brains are wired differently.

It is like comparing a windows computer to a MAC… It’s just so different how they think and feel.

First don’t blame yourself , Cheaters cheat because they are selfish POS people that only care about themselves. They don’t know how to love anyone but themselves. Why you should never give a cheater a second chance , unless you clearly know you were the reason they cheated but that’s a whole different discussion that only you can decide. Overall men that cheat mainly cheat on their partners’ because they feel lack of respect from their partner , they feel unvalued and unwanted by their partner , lack of intimacy and affection is usually the reason. Females’ don’t look at sex like guys’ do. So if you aren’t having consistent sex with him , that could possibly push him to wanting sex with someone else that makes him feel valued and wanted. Guys’ need to feel close to his partner when he gets into a relationship with a girl , having sex with her is his way of feeling closer to her. If she isn’t giving him the sex he desires from her , he will more than likely cheat or leave her for someone else. Females’ tend to look for an emotional connection first for her to want to have sex with a guy. So if your sex life with him isn’t the greatest , that’s probably why he is cheating. Overall it’s a selfish act

People cheat when something is missing from their primary relationship. That is not an excuse, but you can't sugarcoat the reality of it. People in fulfilling relationships rarely cheat on each other.
