Why do men cheat?

A lot of times when dudes cheat, it ain't really about their character ya know. There's usually more goin on.

Some reasons I've seen guys cheat:

- They're feelin neglected or bored in the relationship. Ain't gettin the attention they want from their girl.

- The new girl makes em feel good about themselves, like they're more desirable or somethin. Ego boost.

- They never learned to deal with temptations or impulses properly. Nobody taught em self-control.

- Stress from life or problems at home get taken out the wrong way. Cheatin is an escape.

- Guy is just wired that way - they like the thrill of somethin new and forbidden. Hard for some to be monogamous.

- Doubt creeps in about committin forever to one girl. Grass is greener syndrome.

Not sayin it's right. But there's usually underlying issues, not just them bein a bad dude. Sometimes relationships change people in ways they don't expect. Communication is key to preventin that shit.

Jokes aside, I think it's mainly the same reasons women cheat. The difference between the sexes is that us dudes are more likely to be opportunists and less likely to be doing it for reasons like attention-seeking or with a long process of emotional cheating leading to "feelings" and more likely to be based on just getting more vaginas. But this is just my opinion.

Greedy basically. It's probably also why all of us roll our eyes and know what's going to happen when a woman decides she's going to withhold sex as punishment to the man. Again though... this is my opinion. I know when I thought about doing it, it was all based on revenge... revenge cheating. I'm sure watching two people cheat on each other is pretty retarded to watch as an outsider. That's just my opinion though.

I also think it's a psychological problem: A man finds validation in how many women he skewers. It's a mistaken idea. Indiscriminate fucking around has never made anyone a better person, especially when it hurts your wife and family. Then it's truly unforgiveable. And sad.

Men are designed to spread their seed and can have potentially hundreds of offspring in a year while a women can only have one. That's why men are at the top levels of society or conquerors like Ghengis Khan always had multiple women. The Khan fathered 1 in every 200 men alive today!

Marriage was the compromise between the male sexual strategy (fucking as many women as possible, even though most guys can't accomplish this) and the female sexual strategy (getting with the best most alpha man she can, even if that means she has to share him with other women) that enabled the development of civilization. As modern women have abandoned their end of the compromise due to feminism, men no longer see the point in upholding their end either and we are all worse off for it.

Men also often 'cheat' because they get invited by a woman 🤔

85% of men who "cheat" don't believe they are in a committed relationship with the woman who accuses them of cheating. If you are sharing an Alpha you have to accept the deal.

There are legions of good men who would never cheat but they are invisible to most men.

Not sure specifically. I’m sure there’s loads of reasons why men cheat but just because there is a “reason” to do something doesn’t make it right.
But no men don’t cheat because they have “no character” if anything it’s the complete opposite. Having a good character would probably lead you to more opportunities to cheat. I have a buddy with an amazing character and he has cheated.
