Probably because a married man had the skills and prowess to suggest fully obtain (and in theory) keep a woman satisfied.

Married men are typically a little smarter than their bachelor counterparts. They know that 'calling their partner fat as a joke,' is only a joke of there partner thinks it's funny. If she doesn't think it's funny, life has consequences and married men at least understand that.

Plus married men have probably spent more time around a woman, so things like trimming their finger nails and grooming and eating regularly are just part of their life. Stability is more attractive than a 'I was out so late at the club' type of story.

I like married men cause generally they're older and have more perspective and we can simply be friends and I don't have to worry that some time down the line I'm gunna be hit on as they already have the love of their life. I'm fairly mature and relate to older people quite a bit and make a pretty good friend.

My husband has stated his belief that it’s because the traits people want in a partner — like security, fidelity, etc. — are confirmed by the presence of a wedding ring. Plus, some people are just evil/jealous and want to wreck someone else’s happiness. But you’re right about the whole thing — I’ve gotten up to go to the bathroom only to come back to find him surrounded by a flock of ladies.
