I had an ex-girlfriend age ago who was a nurse, and when she told me that upon our very first conversation, I ended up saying, "You can check my temperature any time!" It was so cheesy! I cringe thinking about it. That said, I did burst out laughing right after I said it, along with her. And I still ended up getting her as my girlfriend in spite of how cringeworthy that line was.

@FoxnEagle That's awesome! I've never been good at pick-up lines. That was about the closest I got towards delivering one and I couldn't help laughing at the end at the absurdity of what I just said. :-D

One thing I did rather than said that was even more cringe than that was in high school. I had this crush on a girl and we talked a lot and were on a pretty friendly basis. But one day outside of school, she came running up to me with her arms open and so I thought she was going to hug me and I opened my arms for a hug. Then she ran past me and hugged a girl behind me. I've actually seen that scene in many comedy films but it actually happened to me! :-D

I had the locker scene actually happen to me, where I though a girl was talking to me but it was actually someone behind me. Most awkward "Sorry, what?" I've had in my life...

@FoxnEagle I think I might have done that too somewhere. I did one where I was next to two other guys and we were all talking to this pretty girl for the first time and then she offered her hand and introduced herself, but it wasn't so clear with the way we were all talking to her at the same time who it was, and I was in the middle and it looked like she was looking my way... so I extended my hand out but the guy on the left of me also did the same, so both of us ended up grabbing a part of her hand. :-D

@FoxnEagle At the time I wasn't very fast at thinking on my feet so we just both shook her hand very awkward... and the guy on the left also didn't make any mention. So then the girl looked like she was feeling all awkward like, "Uhh... okay then!" And we just pretended like it never happened. :-D
