Well, what were you crying about and what did you expect him to do?
Is this a "your mom died and the bank repossessed the house" cry or a "something didn't go the way I wanted it to and I want you to sympathize/comfort me" cry?

It depends on the man. When I had an abortion with my ex boyfriend. I finally broke down one night and needed him to just hold me. He said get over it, you’ll be fine. Turned over and went to bed. I felt even more horrible.
He was never the type to show his emotions. Said it was weakness. But my boyfriend now is pretty open and
becomes emotional. To each their own I guess.
Yes since he was clearly not there for you when you needed him the most.

He should know how to respond, but. . . have you ever told him what you need from him?

I’m sorry to hear he isn’t there for you in your time of need. What I suggest (if you haven’t tried already) is to tell him how he can help you in times of need. Some guys just don’t know how to comfort, or weren’t comforted growing up so they don’t know how to help someone else. Have that talk with him, see if he gets it and makes an effort. If he doesn’t the next time then you might consider wanting to take a break…because life hits us hard and we all will need that support system.
First of all, what were you crying about? Second, just because he doesn't react the way YOU think he should doesn't indicate a lack of caring.
Counting... there must have been 728 days of no crying, then.
That does not sound too bad?Don't mistake his indifference for lack of compassion. Many guys today don't know how to react when they see a woman crying since women can react in different ways. Some grateful, some ungrateful
Should talk to him about it before doing anything about it
How often do you cry?
