Do you think the relationship of a 30 year old boy and an 18 year old girl is normal?

I have a very close friend and he is a successful 30-year-old athlete and very intelligent man. Sometimes like a child, sometimes a big man. He introduced us to his girlfriend and she is 18 years old. I think the age difference is a bit too much, what do you think?

It can be an issue, but it doesn't necessarily have to be one. If they're both at similar maturity levels and have compatible life directions then the age gap shouldn't be an issue.

Well if you ask me, I would say because she is young and hasn’t experienced life yet, how he probably has, makes me question what they’re really doing. The age gap is big but really if they’re happy and not hurting anyone than it’s their choice I guess. She is really young though and barely legal. It’s kinda weird but hey what’re ya gonna do?

I will say this though any age gap bigger than 9 years. Statistically speaking the success rate drops way off.

It’s literally fine, makes a lot of sense from an economic perspective. He has the resources, she has the fertility. Basically so long as the man is successful enough to support a family and they plan on having a family I see it as totally practical
