Does below average mean ugly?

Below average means like 2 or 3/10 in looks... That's basically ugly right?

Or is ugly even lower than that, like -2/10?

Ok first of all, I'd like to caution against using a strict rating scale like that. Every single person has very different preferences in terms of appearance. For example, I love very muscular guys, but a female friend of mine (due to more societal influence in Korea) likes lean guys, in the sense that there isn't a muscle to be found. Even you may disagree with friends about how hot certain actresses are. Therefore, physical attractiveness is very subjective to each person, and there's absolutely no way to use a rating scale. Ultimately, even perceptions of below average or ugly may change from person to person.

The most attractive thing is confidence though! Be confident in who you are as a person, your interests, your kindness, your intellect. And I can promise you that physical attractiveness will not matter nearly as much.

I hate people who use scales like that. I either find someone attractive or somewhat attractive or i dont.

And the scale itself makes no sense. A girl can be called a 9 by one guy and a 5 by someone else and a 2 by someone else.
