I talked with an old crush through Instagram and got her number. I didn't text her yet. I was thinking about sending her a pic of an old drawing she did of me when we were young and ask something like " do you recognize him " or something like that. Would that be a bit weird?

I have a picture that a crush of mine did in high school. I have kept it all these years because it's a bad ass drawing! (A German soldier treating a downed British pilot during WW I) I didn't keep it because I still harbor a crush for her.

@Bluemax That's a cool story! I think I didn't explain this properly. I used to have a crush on her when we used to see each other everyday in school, a couple of years ago. She changed schools and we lost contact. I moved on during that period. I saw her on my recommended tab in Instagram last week, followed and sent a message to see how she was doing. While texting her I was always wondering stuff like, " What if I told her I liked her back then? " etc. That's why I would like to ask her out and see if we clicked. I found the drawing a couple of days ago, while moving some school stuff and didn't know if I should send her a picture of it or not. That's why I'm asking. Anyway, thanks for your help.
