So there is a 2 people who cross paths a couple times a week, they don't know each other at all. One of these persons decided to get a card and write that wants to get to know the other. So do you think that this approach is weird?

okay- I used to see this girl at the library. All we used to do was smile at each other. One night I saw her get up to look for something so I went over to where she was sitting and I left her a note asking her to meet me at the student union at 11 o'clock. I was not sure what would happen but at 11 o'clock she actually showed up.
