I [25F] am not sure if I should pursue my coworker/best friend [26M]?

For context, we both befriended each other almost instantly almost three years ago when I moved into the office next to his in a small building to the point people thought we were a couple. I had a crush on him a year in. At this time, I noticed he got more comfy with me as well and admitted I was one of his bffs. At at a group work outing, he said he never would date a coworker because it can get awkward. Despite that, he seems to be somewhat interested in me and kind of knows I’m interested? Here’s a list of stuff he does often:

• Calling me once we’re done for the day on my work cell to talk which eventually graduated to calling me on my personal cell after work hours and on weekends. We’re on the phone A LOT and have deep convos. We also exchange funny memes and interesting articles
• Teasing me and making flirty jokes with me about hooking up with me, us being in a work relationship and even marrying me
• Playful touching/invading my personal space (shoulder squeezes, hand on my knee, brushing his arm with mine, requesting head scratches/massages from me)
• Thoughtful gifts for Christmas/bday (e. g. Airpod Pros for my bday... even tho he's frugal LOL)
• One-on-one outings. We have weekly lunch outings, which he seems to get really excited for (mostly takeout and eating it at a nearby mostly empty park) and even gone on errands to Trader Joe's, Ikea, and Home Depot together...

The thing is I don’t think he finds me attractive physically. He’s mentioned his ideal type and I do fit some of the criteria but the biggest difference is his type is someone from his own race (I’m a different race from him). He's also vocalized finding other girls attractive, but has never acted upon it. I did hint at liking him once, but he seemed to not want to have that convo.
Both of us have been unhappy at our workplace lately and are currently looking for other jobs. I would def be open to dating him if one of us quits but I’m not sure it would be a good idea if he’s not interested

This seems like a friends with benefits kind of situation. I wouldn't bother. Just let things flow, as you are enjoying his company and spend more than enough time together. If he really likes you he would say something already; especially wouldn't bring up his "type" and what he goes for as that says he isn't that interested (maybe for a fling or friends with benefits) after having you or sleeping with you, he will change. So best keep it at a friendship level and don't go further unless he tells you he likes you and wants to be with you. He seems way to comfortable in your situationship. So if you hold back and not spend as much time with him, see if he chases you? Don't tell him your feelings as this would ruin your friendship. Wait until he says something.
