+1 yI'm going to play the devil's advocate here. It has been proven multiple times that women would generally go for more attractive men. They claim they care about what is in the inside, but then again jump to the 'bad boys' who are not only attractive, but know how to push their buttons. I happen to know about this since I'm considered as one.

How many times have you seen women claim they want a man for their personality/character and then proceed on rejecting/friendzoning the nice guy? This is no secret anymore and it is so common that memes are being made about it. These same women who claim they want a nice guy and a man for their personality are the very same ones who complain about the men they chose. All because the dude LOOKS good and knew how to push their buttons.
Don't buy into their bullshit of them wanting a man with character. What they say often contradict what they go for.
These memes are more than enough to show you why these same nice guys often turn out to be bad boys and "assholes". Because they got to learn that this is the way to score women.

They fuck bad boys because bad boys you can always leave since they are assholes.

+1 yI see a lot of "nope" from women, but actions speak louder than words.
From my experience, women will say "no" to doing a stereotype, but turn around and still do that stereotype without thinking about the situation.84 Reply- +1 y
Honestly and sadly I must agree.

@dragoblack You are 100 correct. Women say what they believe is politically correct but what they say is meaningless. Go to any dance, club, or anywhere boys and girls or men and women go to meet and just sit back and watch. If it is not someone they already know, every girl or woman will act as if looks is the only thing. Of course, that equally applies to guys. The only difference is women are also attracted to guys with money. It is not their money that guys are after.

+1 yEveryone would date attractive people but appearance alone ain't enough. I have rejected good looking guys because of their promiscuos behaviour. Wait you mean dating. Dating mean getting to know someone for a relationship. So of course i would date a man for his appearance so i can get to know his personality since his looks attracted me and by dating i can find out if i am also attracted to his personality. Nobody would stay with a terrible person
So appearance pulls you but character holds you51 Reply- +1 y
Good answer
No way. I wouldn't be able to be happy in a relationship like that. I would need to connect with him and like his personality as well. Even if he wasn't good looking but he had a good personality and I felt like I connected with him, then I would date him.
24 Reply- +1 y
Nice. You're looking for an emotional relationship where you can have deep feelings towards him in that case.
You didn't just say no to only appearance but you also said yes to only personality. I'm not sure if this is realistic though. Even though you like someone's personality I feel like you should at least find him a bit attractive as well if you know what I mean. - +1 y
Yeah, but I also read online once that if you love someone for their personality and don't feel attracted towards them, it can develop over time because of your feelings for them as a person, ya know? It's happened to me before, so I think it's true. It's also true that it might sound a bit unrealistic lol, it's true you do need attraction in a romantic relationship tho.
- +1 y
I see your point. Actually I agree with your opinion when I think about it. If you spend enough time with a person you really love, you'll probably start to feel attracted to them as well.
Being in love with the personality of someone is such a strong feeling that has a lot of power to change other stuff too indeed.

+1 yI want a guy with a good personality and that is more important to me than good looks.
20 Reply We can't deny the fact that the number of failed rwlationship is rising and it is because millenials or yourths and even young adult today chooses a guy who she can be proud of in front her friends and family even though that guy isn't Kind but as long as the guy is good looking they still choose it. Im not saying that Im talking about all women what Im trying to say is most of the women now a days are like that, they go for a 'bad boy' type of man but when everything got fvcked up and get badly hurt they rant like they are the victim, Girls choose your man wisely.
21 Reply- +1 y
I agree with you
+1 yI could only do it for so long. It's tempting to date someone you're really attracted to, even exciting but looks don't last forever. Dating someone you can't connect with is probably going to be a problem in the long run. So for a fling, then yes I could. Long term it wouldn't work out.

Yeah I think most people underestimate a really good looking guy.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yHot guys are hot and though I think ANYONE would enjoy having some arm candy, actual real life dating and not just some fantasy of a man, involves some sort of exchange, conversation, and an amenable personality to carry you through. If he didn't have at least something behind the face and body, I couldn't do it.

+1 yIf he’s like a 10/10 then casually yes, but nothing serious. That is assuming his personality is alright (not bad) but we just don’t click. At the same time I wouldn’t tell him to any of my friends except pictures to show off I guess
21 Reply- +1 y
Yeah I didn't say that his personality is bad. Just alright. I think this is a good and realistic answer.
Absolutely no. A relationship cannot last on attraction alone. It will get old fast, and your left with someone you do not really like. On the other hand, the guys I have had the biggest romantic feelings for are the same ones I initially thought we not very attractive. A good personality, values, and qualities can create attraction, but the reverse is never true. In a perfect world, I'm sure most people would love to have both and many do; but if it ever came down to dating a guy who looks good but whom I dislike in every other way, I say no!

+1 yNo, not in the slightest.
The character is what makes me want to date them and stay with them. Sure, I want to be attracted to them as well. But their appearance doesn't make up for a bad character. Then it wouldn't mean anything to be with them.11 Reply- +1 y
Yeah I agree. Good answer.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yLooks will accentuate any “good” characteristics a man has. If he has a mediocre sense of humor she will laugh at all his jokes. If he’s a so so athlete she will still see him as a jock. If he has so so intelligence she will see him as really smart.
Also he can be much more assertive and aggressive with approaching women with the risk of being labeled a “creep”.
He still needs to create momentum though. Maybe not as much as his lesser attractive counterparts but unlike a very attractive woman he can’t get by in life with his looks.10 ReplyAbsolutely not.
If all he got his looks... the conversation isn't stimulating and he's not funny...
I'd rather drink hot lemonade21 Reply- +1 y
Haha good one!
Anonymous(18-24)+1 yNo. The amount of cute guys I’ve talked to who lacked personality are a lot, like sure appearance is a good quality but what’s the point of you don’t even like the dude? This one guy hit me up and he was very attractive, but he had the personality of a rock and I’m more for long term relationships too, I think I’d go crazy without someone with at least a bit of humor and decent personality. I’m trying to get a life partner, not a lame model.
11 Reply- +1 y
Nice answer
+1 yNope. What would be the point in dating someone for the appearance when your parents can change who you are as a person is what remains throughout your life as well as the fact that it wouldn't really be much of a relationship but just more so be a hookup or a fuck buddy
11 Reply- +1 y
Yeah makes sense
NO, I might flirt subtly but also won't take him seriously as a long term partner.
I won't date him unless he's submissive.34 Reply- +1 y
So you mean you could think of him as a friends with benefits or something?
- +1 y
Well that's kind of sexual as well if you ask me. Sexuality doesn't necessarily mean you have to have sex. The fact that you want to kiss and make out etc is sexual. And if you're horny enough at that time you'd probably hook up with him as well.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yNope. We all get to a point where we realize looks aren't everything. Attractive people are not that hard to find. Finding some you click with, someone who gets you and makes you laugh... I can count on one hand how many times that has happened in my lifetime.
23 Reply- +1 y
For us brainy folk, it really has to do with finding someone of an equal mental/intellectual capacity. Much harder than finding someone 'hot' (which just means athletic/healthy) - especially as you get to extremely smart range (and no, EQ is bullsh. t, just an index of manipulativeness (
- +1 y
+1 yI personally would not. To me it doesn't matter all that much what a guy looks like. I mostly just like people for themselves, their character and personality.
12 Reply- +1 y
That's nice.
- +1 y
Thanks
+1 yMaybe if I'm bored lol , but I won't take him seriously or consider him for long term.
23 Reply- +1 y
So you would just wanna have sex with him at the end of the day?
- +1 y
I will not. I went out with some handsome guys who lacked personality, but I never had sex with any of them because I only want to do it with someone I love and someone who genuinely cares about me.
- +1 y
Yeah that sounds much better

+1 yNo. I don't have time for that.
I prioritize soul, heart, and mind. Body can be improved and appearance worked on relatively easily.
It takes much more hard work to develop and maintain a good personality.10 Reply

I think those who prefer to be with an attractive but shitty guy are not thinking about it as a true possibility, shitty people are a nightmare to be with!
+1 yNo I would not. I’m attracted to who they are inside- personality, energy, all that stuff. I can note some guys are good looking but I don’t feel attraction for someone just because they’re good looking.

+1 yI wouldn't just date a guy because he's good looking. For me it's also about how he treats me and other women and people in general, his sence of humor, good personality, we get along well, we have similar interestes.

Sense of humor will make him end up in friend zone
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yGuys don't listen to the false woman opinion they're either laying or they don't know what they really want.
The facts is woman will date based on look at their 20s and they're dying for Chad they can't help it they reject guys with sense of humor don't believe it they have rejected so many guys because maybe he was below 6 feet the majority of women will ride the 🎠🎠🎠 on their 20s then at their 30s they will face the great wall Chad will run another 🎠🎠🎠 show where there's no place for over 20s woman at that time they will say where are all the good men have gone !! MGTOW. girls have friend zoned so many guys just because he's below 6 and driving a Honda , much respect for Honda and their legendary reliable engines.
Well there's exception I mean there are good woman out there but they're rare to find and not that easy00 ReplyThat don't impress me much - Shania Twain
