Guns are great. It's a shame women are scared of them. However, I don't believe for one second that women have suddenly become honest with their dating standards. Tall guy with big muscles and a square jaw with a charming disposition walks through the door... They'd be willing to look past the fact they drive a tank to work.

Maybe, I go to the range every now and then but if it’s all he talks about & all he does in his free time then I’d find it kind of extreme (therefore wouldn’t like it that much).

It depends on the definition of a gun nut. Somebody who is stockpiling weapons in a backyard bomb shelter probably not but someone that likes to target shoot for fun, sure. I think it would be a fun date.
