Some things are worth fighting for, some aren't. Women expect a lot of things out of men. Certain money, certain height, certain beliefs, etc... Some things I adapt too, even though I don't want to.

I don't like having to pay for a first date. Before I even know if I really like someone. But go ask a group of women if they would continue seeing a man that didn't pay for the first date. Some might say yes, most will say no.

If I chose to die on that hill, I could miss out on a woman I really like because of some stupid personal hang up I have on this cultural norm that she may subscribe to. What do I lose an extra 30-60 bucks? But what I would gain would be much better, by just swallowing my pride a bit, and going along with this stupid outdated norm.

What women tell their friends and others isn't always what they put into practice in their actual dating lives as well. A lot of women just say the politically correct answer, even to their friends, so they are perceived as bad or shamed.

Many women still subscribe to traditional dating views for the men they date. But pretend to feel otherwise because society tells them it is bad for them to think these things. As well as not requiring THEM to subscribe to traditional views as well. Essentially having your cake and eating it too.
