Guys how long would you wait to text a girl if you are interested?

If you’re interested in a girl and talking to her on and off for 4 months.. would you wait for 3-4 weeks to see if she texts or reaches out first. And if she doesn’t will you ask her whats up or just move on?

When talking to someone for a while, and i have interest in that person. i sometimes stop being the first one to text to be sure conversation comes from both sides and not only from my side. If she doesn't text anything, I'll just move on and forget about it

Yeah well it takes the effort of two, if I felt I was the one reaching out all the time and then some other girl come along sparked a convo more and seemed more Interested in me I'd go with her. Like If myself or the girl doesn't feel the need to reach out to each other who cares, if she or I feel the need to reach out that's cool too. Just flick him a message and ask what he's up to.

If anyone messaged that I was interested in before and no major bridges were burnt and I was available yes I would still be interested to some extent, might need a little work to get back to the same level as before but it's doable if she's keen to give things another shot. If you don't message too that's cool I'm busy getting on with my life, suit yourself if you want to be part of it or not.
