If you find this insulting, I would tell him you would appreciate it if he stopped. I know I would feel offended if my S. O did that to me. it is insensitive, and there are people who have genes that causes them to be obese. If this is the issue you have, he is basically adding insult to injury. He should stop even if you aren't bothered by it, just for the sake of simple respect.
My girl's belly looks similar to this, so no, I can't grab it the way you're referring to

I dont have a big belly and I dont have a boyfriend but if I did I'd feel a bit weird if he did this constantly. If he doest it out of curiosity once that would be fine but if he overfixates on my belly I'd find it weird and uncomfortable. Maybe he's into chubby bellies?
When I was chubby (throughout my 30s), my boyfriend (now husband) used to playfully do that and say "more to love!" However, he's also my personal fitness coach. <3 So, my belly is a lot smaller and firmer now. :)
Not in public but in private, mine seems to find it entertaining but I don’t like it much. If I felt he was being disrespectful about it I would not allow it.
They r just having fun with your new belly.. I see many men likes their boyfriend/girlfriend when they gain weight.. So don't bother about it and enjoy!
if he touches your belly while you're sleeping then that's fine and perfectly understandable. but if you're awake and standing in a room or crowded place and he grabs your belly then that would be weird
