+1 yNever to late! My parents were in their 50's when they got divorced. My Mother was terrified of being single. Then the man of her dreams came into her life and they lived happily married for over 25 years before she passed away.
It is not your age that matters. It is your attitude about understanding what it takes to make a relationship complete. Guys feel the same way as you when they get to be almost 30. All the really great ladies are married by then.
Truth is some of us are better off staying single until we have worked out all of our personal issues. Those issues will never go away, but your ability to handle them and your ability to express them will change as you get older.
Just be yourself, do the things you enjoy doing, and one day the man of your dreams will appear cause he is doing the same!01 Reply

There are a lot of guys who didn't get married in their twenties who are thinking the same thing that you are: "Is it too late to find a decent girl?"
Set your sights on older guys. No, I'm not talking about men my age, but guys in their 30's. By now they should have a good job, and some will even own their own home. Unlike men in their 40's, most thirtysomething guys haven't been divorced, which means there is no ex-wife and no kiddies (and a decade of child support).
There's still hope, so don't give up! Just keep looking.00 Reply

I had girlfriends from the time I was 16. The most amazing woman I ever met, aside from my wife, was when I was 37 and she was 31 years old. I loved her with my entire heart and soul and she loved me. We lived together for over a year but circumstances were such that we weren't destined to spend the rest of our lives together.
I met my (future) wife when I was 40 and she was 38. We got married two years later and have been happily married for 25 years.12 Reply

The thing is, I wasn't looking to get married. I only started thinking about finding a life partner to spend the rest of my life with in my mid 30s. Once I decided that, I eventually found the right woman. She was 38 when we met and had never been married, either. She wasn't a virgin or anything. She just hadn't found the right guy to settle down with. Like me, she took marriage very seriously.

LOL, any fellas notice what she left out on this one? We aren't fooled!
It's too late to get a decent guy at any age... decent guys have either realized the juice is not worth the squeeze and walked, or they have turned into bad boys to meet the high demand for them...01 Reply
Asker+1 yWhat did I leave out
never too late, its just really hard at the moment for everyone. Covid etc. I mean I am in the same boat myself being 35. I stopped looking and just started focusing on myself. I don't care if I find someone or not but If I do and its a match in heaven then I am fighting for it.
I feel like trying to date and searching is like quicksand, the more you resist the faster you sink. Just do you. Best of luck!!!00 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yLet's be realistic. On the one hand it's never too late, on the other that isn't an ideal age. If you've never been with anyone romantically or sexually then that helps, but the more partners you've had then more negatively that will affect the chances.
Try to have a good personality, be a cool person, and take an active role - find guys you like and use your face to make words at them like a real human being.01 Reply

Opinion Owner+1 yand this question hurts because i thought i was a decent guy and i thought i made the love of my life happy... i guess i was wrong
Opinion Owner+1 ywow this question really hurts a lot
Opinion Owner+1 ywow so i guess the 4 years i been head over heels crazy with the love of my life didn't mean a damn thing to them. i guess the expensive 14k gold pin i got them for their birthday this year and the 14k gold 1ct diamond heart necklace and the 10k gold 1ct diamond hoop earrings i got them last year didn't mean a damn thing either i guess the piece of asteroid and naming a star after them the previous two years didn't matter either. nor did traveling 3000 miles to see them for their birthday last year and planning again either late this year or sometime next year doesn't count for shit either? nor seeing them a few years ago when they visited my area. nor does getting their mom a birthday card every year nor does all the songs i wrote for them or the prayers i said for them throughout the years nor does any of the drawings or art work i did for them either mean anything? why should it since according to you you can't find a decent guy. it's not like they ever said thank you to me for anything i did for them anyways
Opinion Owner+1 yit's not like they every said i love you to me even though i said it to them countless number of times and even though i wish them a good night almost every night before i go to bed and a good morning sometimes and ask them how their day has been or that i'm thinking about them. i guess none of that counts either nor does sticking up for them when people bully and harrass them nor does sending mail to both nasa and the middle east so they could get a trip to see a certain wall in the middle east. but i guess none of that counts now does it. nor does singing happy birthday every single year or hoping they live the best and happiest life possible or being there for them when their pet passes away unlike them who wasn't there for me when mine did, because after all they want to find a decent guy and i'm not good enough for them right
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yBlunt answer is if what you've been unsuccessful up to this point them you might have to lower your standards a tad

If you think you can't get a "decent" guy, just lower your standards.
More precisely the physical and financial ones.
I'm gonna tell you how to find a husband, male style.
The ugliest guy you ever had sex while drunk and claimed to regret later, say you'd never do it sober? That's your minimum requirement for attractiveness.
Learn to cum reliably with people that good looking, use porn for it, remember, the more you validate the easier you get there.
Second, see how much money you make/have, see how much a couple needs for basic necessities, what's missing is your minimal wealth requirement. Start living more frugally.
Third, if it turns out you are the money maker, add a new requirement, a guy who likes to take care of the house and is actually good with kids, learn to understand that your kids are going to love him more and he'll have almost absolute control over them.
Fourth, see that as a happy and fulfilling life, understand that you deserve no better and even just making it there is a blessing, stop wanting to be seen as better than others a priory.
Now your understand how men can have such low standards.
Those things have been drilled into them (and even worst) by birth.
Worrying doesn't do anything so you have to try

Asker+1 yPretty much alway stayed single I moved around a lot and travelled so I didn't bother with anyone properly
Opinion Owner+1 yAre you saying you've never had a boyfriend?
Asker+1 yYes I've just fooled around with one guy for years without a label
Opinion Owner+1 ySo it was just casual sex only?
Asker+1 yYes a friends with benefits. Did the job because I didn't want to be with anyone
Opinion Owner+1 yMy guess is you lost your virginity in your teenage years
Asker+1 yNo actually when I was 24
Opinion Owner+1 yOh I see, it wasn't until sometime in my 20s for me as well
Asker+1 yWell actually I just 25 at that time so fairly late compared to most girls
Opinion Owner+1 yI would believe so but it's no doubt more common than we think for people to not have sex until sometime in their twenties
It's never too late
