Why do some people have unrealistic standards when it comes to dating?

Anonymous
Recently, a friend of mine just filed a police report against this guy, who constantly harassed her after she said no to him. This asshole who works in a supermarket, approached my friend, who is a medical officer. Another friend of mine, who got rejected by her former co-worker, that was her manager. She admitted to me that she created multiple fake accounts to harass him after she saw him dating a girl who is of course far more attractive than her. I remember a few similar incidents happened to other people as well. I find it to be disturbing how people think they should hold unto their unrealistic standards, when they keep getting a no from the opposite gender. Yes, everybody has a standard, but people have the right to reject what we want, if they don’t find us to be within the same level.
