Most girls certainly seem to *think* they are...

I'm not tall whatsoever and I've had SO MANY women reject me for my height. That's the biggest thing I get rejected for, and the second biggest is my race (I'm black). I've mostly given up on pursuing women because statistically, 96% of (straight) women want a tall man (at least 6 ft/183 cm).

Although since some (4%) say they'd date a short guy, I haven't gone full MGTOW yet or anything. They just usually aren't into men my height at all. Really short women and tall women just usually want men at least at six feet. It REALLY sucks I ended up at the shitty height I did, 180 cm, but whatever. I'll either find a sweet wonderful woman who accepts me as I am, ALL the flaws and all. Or I won't, which is more likely to happen. No one should revolve their life around someone else, anyway. I learned that the hard way.

No theyre just hyped up by makeup, and social media to the point where they believe theyre all 10s. Pretend she isn't there and she will fight for your attention, she worked on her face for two hours for a reason. When you dont give them what they want they seek it more. Attention to women is worth more than money. Biologically they need to know someone stronger will defend them. Thats why they haven't evolved into a stronger being. Its been like that forever, you can't be happy if you dont feel safe. Thats why strength is so important to women

This is a weird way to frame things. It's not about league.

It's simply that there are certain traits that elicit feelings of romantic love in women. When a woman feels safe around a man, this is a significant contributor. And - assuming all else remains equal - a woman tends to feel physically safer around a man who is taller than her. It's an indicator that he'll be able to physically protect her. It calms her nervous system, and encourages good hormonal regulation.

I don't look at short guys and think "I'm out of his league". Often, I will look at a good-looking or charismatic short guy and be like "damn, you'll make such a great catch for the right woman... but because of the height you're not a good match for me".

No of course not.. I think that's men insecure about their height that believe this to be true.. The only two women I personally knew that a man's height was important to them was because of being tall themselves and their own insecurities with being tall women so wanting men taller than them...

the sad reality is that even most girls who say that they don’t mind height, they usually do. A short guy needs another part of his personality to shine bright to make a connection, especially right off the bat. A tall guy can make a connection immediately just for being tall, but most short guys can’t. And with height there’s no such think as average to girls either, if you aren’t tall, you are short. I’m 5”10, taller than the average male in my country, yet statistics don’t matter, I’m still considered short because I’m definitely not “tall”

so you better have a nice smile, great hair, good fashion sense, a deep voice, and be able to make girls laugh right off the bat! There’s still hope, don’t worry.

Also, nothing wrong with buying some shoes that give you a discreet extra 2 inches! There’s men’s shoes specifically for that.

I don't think 'too good' is suitable here, more of 'not preferable', at least from my knowledge.
Different people have differnet standards of being 'short', for me any guy below 1.8m is 'short', but some of my friends are happy with a 1.68m. It all comes down to personal taste, really.
Some girls like taller ones, some like shorter ones, just like how guys are also pretty diverse in their partner's ideal height.

So if a girl doesn't like a short guy back (assuming) simply due to his height, then from the viewpoint that the feelings aren't mutual, then maybe they are just not meant to be, nothing wrong with that. Of course, 'not liking' is acceptable, but 'attacking/height-shaming' isn't.

Ah no. I don’t know why men like to talk bad about women saying we only want a tall guy when every single friend of mine dates a guy shorter than her or is the exact same height as her and the single ones are totally open to dating a short guy.

One of the best guys I know is about five seven, around here he's practically a midget (the average guy around here is about six one) he's a great person, kind and generous. He's outgoing, funny and upbeat, he owns several properties including a 14 unit apartment in the gentrified trendy area of the City (it's a really neat old 1907 building he's spent years restoring )

I've known him for over a decade and he's never gotten a date that I know of.

A lot of short guys I know killed themselves in various different ways because women kept making fun of them when they tried to approach them and talk to them. The worst one was I know a short guy that poured gasoline over his whole body and lit himself on fire

No matter what girls say here to comfort you, it's a fact that they are biologically attracted to taller men. That's just how it is. Most prefer the man being at least taller than them. No they are not "too good" for short guys. It's just a matter of preference and you can't hate on anyone based on their preference.

Nope. There are lots of short girls. I’m sure he can find someone under 5’3 because London seems to be full of them. I’m 5’6/7 and a lot of women are usually shorter than me. It’s less common I bump into people taller than that unless it’s European tourists.

I'm 5'5 and my guy needs to be 5'7 at least because I like wearing heels.

I dated a short guy (around my height) but I'd have to buy all new shoes not to tower over him and to me it was inpractical. I don't like feeling taller than the guy.

That being said, his height wasn't the only problem so probably if he ticked every other box, I would buy those flats lol

The only issue most women have with short men isn't that they are short, it's that if you believe people won't date you because you are short, you are not looking for other ways in which you can improve yourself because the only reasoning you find that people don't like you is one that you cannot controlOnly YOU care that you are short.

They are somehow lead to believe that tall guys have "better genes", which isn't true, but they take that to the bank. The only thing it increases is that her child (ren) will also be taller, but they are not "better" in general. But they'll tell you because "they know".
