Let say you have a standard for a woman with beautiful blonde hair and she is incredibly sporty, would you consider dating a girl that isn't blonde and doesn't play sports?
How about your standard is for a 6 foot tall man and you wish he were the best kisser, would you date a guy who couldn't kiss and definitely isn't six ft tall? Also guys and girls list off your standards for the perfect men or perfect women if you could?
My standards when it comes to my idea girl are as follow she is beautiful, and successful, and intelligent.
Beautiful- Of course this apply to both physical beauty and spiritual beauty, my dream girl would be a very pretty girl with big boobs and a big ass. But her main selling point for me is her kindness and determination to achieve your dreams.
Successful- This is mainly what I go for in terms of choosing the right woman, she can be the most beautiful person in the world but if beauty her only gimmick it wouldn't be worth it in my book. I want my future girl to figure out her future, or at least want her to know what interests she have for herself.
Intelligent- She doesn't need to have Einstein level of intelligence but I ain't the biggest fans of bimbos who couldn't even know her own name or birthday. I prefer to have a woman who I can engage with intellectual conversation with I don't do dumbness it not my thing.
Those are my standards when it comes for my dream woman, so how about you lucky bachelors and bachelorettes. When it comes to searching for your dream partner, would you consider dating outside of your standards if you couldn't find your perfect man and perfect woman?

The sooner people realize their idea of their SO is fake, the sooner they can accept that everyone has flaws. No one fits picture perfect into that role. But someone can be molded to fit that cut out in your heart that needs that person. She can be a Plain Jane working a fryer at McDonalds. I dont really give a damn. Life is too damn short to get hung up on people's looks and "success" imho. As long as she finds happiness in her work idc what that work is unless I find her job unethical. I love a deep thinker. She doesn't have to be the smartest in terms of books, education, etc. But I love a deep thinker, an open minded person, someone who has empathy for others. I'm 6'3. I DO have a cut off for heights but I'm extremely lenient. Shortest girl I dated was 5'1, tallest was 5'9. As long as she isn't taller than me or under 4'10 I'll be fine. She's gotta be willing to hold me and hug me lots and cuddle with me every night after work. That's just as important, maybe even more important than actual sex to me.
I mean if she's hot af obviously I'll prefer her. So yeah I'm compromising my standards a bit, right? lol And her having money, well that doesn't sway me much. It's nice to have it but again she could be poor. doesn't mean I wouldn't wife her up if she was a sweetheart.
I'm a deeply philosophical person... but also a sweet tooth without anything sweet for almost 7 months (God I can't believe I'm doing this during pumpkin pie season). I just want some pies and donuts... so badly man T. T
It's really about efforts if she doesn't meet my standards it's she that needs to put in the effort. But it's also about which standards she doesn't meet. I don't have shallow standards regarding hair color or height and stuff like that, I have preferences which means I wouldn't pick her in a crowd, but if she picks me she has a shoot. Assuming she doesn't fail showstoppers like being very obese or look like something a cat puked up.
Depends on the standards. I really don’t have any as far as physical traits. My standards are more about character but if he’s a substance abuser or is physically or emotionally abusive then absolutely not. Criminal records other than traffic violations are a deal breaker. Known players who can’t be faithful to one woman are also dealbreakers.
something you can let go and some you can't based on what is important to you. Some people would never date someone of another faith or ethnicity even if they were everything they wished for. Some will.
I think I can't compromise on my core values but money and looks yes to a certain extent I might.
I’m willing to date a poor guy if I’m attracted to him or an ugly guy if he has a good personality or can give me financial blessing or is good at house chores.
Personally one of the biggest problems is people having unrealistic standards and attributing stupid words to them - Quality woman - like yeah quantify.
To me yeah we have some core stuff but even then it’s a sliding scale, we never really get 100% on each attribute.
Now the chances of getting that is one girl you meet is slim.
it then becomes a mix of a shopping list and an RPG character dice role.
Me I’m happy to batter with myself on what works, also it’s that emotional connection that is critical for me.
Others however will have something like an Instagram model with 5 million followers, then wonder why they don’t get dates, I mean they are 30 slightly overweight, etc.
That is definitely true sometimes everyone both men and women do have unrealistic standards regarding the other gender which makes it a bit of a challenge in meeting someone but hey it would be awesome if you do eventually meet that person who do end up having your idea standards.
When i had time to waste, yes, no problem. But that would be considered temporary fun. When i date, i prefer the real deal. Someone who’s end goal. Fck all the obstacles that approach along the way
Cute face, lonewolf, good smile, 23-29, goofy, music lover (but not a musician), believes in God, respectful, faithful, talkative, hardly cusses, hardly uses sarcasm, not into drugs/alcohol, dirty sense of humor, good with kids, interested in marriage/kids now, a great kisser, ambitiously hardworking, not obsessed with video games, social media and anime, has had less than 5 sexual partners, can wait at least 6 months into the relationship

Those are not negotiable. I have found in the past that when I did compromise on any one of them, I was miserable. Moreover, I wound up breaking the woman's heart. I never want to do that. Fortunately, I found all three of those and a whole lot more in my wife. Unfortunately, she passed away.
Of course I would. And have. There's only a few things that would make me not want to date a compatible girl, such as her being a feminist, or a single mother, or a cheater, or abusive, or gay ("bisexual"), or something like that.
Oh yes I don't know how I could realistically do with a girl with mpd? One day she is a sweet and elegant lady, the next day she might be all mean and nasty. 😂
It is very complicated but briefly, they tend to disappear for months at a time, live elsewhere, change their identity completely, and even their names. If they are found, they have no memories of their previous life at all for a long time. I have had several patients that have gone through this. Look up Dissociative Identity Disorder with fugue.
While I have a preference for looks my standards are for personality. I've dated outside of my looks preference several times before if the personality was right and we clicked.
Maybe, but she would have to sell me on it pretty hard. Standards exist for a reason. If you want me to give you a waiver, it's up to you to convince me why I should.
