Why are some guys attracted when the girl makes the move?

I am super confused.
I have seen this quite pretty friend of mine (nice facial features and hot body) try to chase numerous guys (one at a time) but she has been quite unsuccessful. I would think that she may be too aggressive and it puts them off. But I was surprised because I found her pretty but she just couldn’t get a guy.

On the other hand, there’s this classmate of mine who is rather pretty (but I didn’t think that she is super pretty and her body is average). She asked 4 guys out in the class and all of them went out with her. And it’s like they will continue to text her and stuff.

I am confused because it seems like even though she is not as good looking as my friend but guys seem to want her more and they don’t find her desperate?

So what do guys want exactly? Could it be because she asked multiple guys out and they felt competitive about it?

There are several things wrong here. First, despite what you believe, you as a woman are NOT an authority on what makes women attractive to men. Just because you think girl A is prettier than girl B, doesn't mean men do.

Second, it seems most women think that if a man doesn't respond positively to a woman's advances, it must mean men don't like women to make the first move. Can you imagine what would happen if all men decided women don't like to be approached if they weren't successful the first few times they tried? The human race would go extinct. Most guys have a very low success rate with women, but they have to keep trying or they will be alone for the rest of their lives. What makes you women think you should be any different?

So what do guys want exactly? We want you to get out of your heads and stop being so silly about this topic. If you are attracted to a guy, let him know. Don't play games. Don't expect us to pick up on your subtle hints. We won't. Know why? Because what might be a subtle hint from one women might be another women just being nice, and then she will be annoyed and ask "why she can't be nice to guys without them thinking she is attracted to them?". This is a no-win game for men. Please just be straight forward. Please.

It's not aggressiveness and it has nothing to do with the girl making the first move. Most guys would reject the first girl the same reason any girl would reject a guy: They're not into her, or her personality wasn't attractive. The second girl was likely a nicer, sweeter person, and her making the first move was probably an extra added bonus to an already great package.

Contrary to what you believe, guys are into more in a girl than just a hot body or cute face. The girl making the first move is usually a positive benefit as guys don't like being rejected to begin with and we usually always have to do the chasing (and usually get rejected or put down, because of it), but if the girl isn't likable to begin with, it's not going to be the game-changer that helps her succeed.

I’m going to play the devil’s advocate here. It could be that your first friend might be coming off as a little desperate (I. E. “chasing” a man by always initiating, calling constantly, etc) whereas your second friend could just be like “I like you. We should go out sometime if you’re interested”. I would suggest to your first friend that she try a different approach. This way it lets the guy know he has a chance but also leaves the ball in his court. If he doesn’t agree to go out she has her answer. Men love to know when a girl is interested but hate to be “chased”.
Also as someone who has done the chasing when I was younger, it does get exhausting.

It comes down to do they want to spend time with this person? You rate them by looks, but who gives a fuck, honestly. Life is a popularity contest, and the most fun person to be around is the most popular one.

They probably want more than just looks. In my opinion, on a scale of 1 to 10, as long as the girl is a 5 in my opinion it is okay, but her personality/morals/past/long term life goals needs to be AT LEAST an 8 or higher for me to want her.

Because it is so rare, and shows how she is courageous and is not conforming to the sexist standards. But I would hope that guys who come across those girls don’t expect them to do their things or pay for their meals. You may call me sexist for this, but I ä would still think the guy should offer to pay for her, while it is okay for the girl to offer to pay for his, but to each their own.

The guy is most likely too shy to ssk or confess his fellings to the person and so he wants the other to make the move to be sure so he doesn't feel left out of the world of love.
