Why would a beautiful 25 year old woman be single and never dated?

There’s this woman I know who’s 25. she seems nice but really shy and she’s attractive with a good body. She doesn’t wear any makeup either so she’s actually naturally attractive which I found is rare and she has a master’s degree and decent job as well. I know some of her friends and they said she’s never dated or have a boyfriend who say it’s because she wants a relationship but is shy but I’m sure a lot of guys would ask her out so it’s not like she needs to approach them.

I don’t get why she has never had a boyfriend?

I don’t know why I assumed that she has never been asked out but I guess it’s probably not the case and rather she never agreed to any guy who asked her out.

Could be that she doesn't know how to develop meaningful relationships. That is probably true but the reason why she is single is probably because she cannot recognize what she wants when it shows up right in front of her.

I know a girl like this. Multiple I have known. They are afraid of not finding a partner yet they turn down the guys that ask them. Some who are more than fit. It is something that has always confused me until I learned how the brain worked. I speak of the reticular activating system. Basically she cannot recognize her desire even when it hits her in the face. I have also struggle with this once. It may be also insecurity. In fact, I don't think those things are mutually exclusive.

Maybe she is shy and quiet and it is hard for guys to approach or she tries to ask guys out and they aren't interested.

Only she would know, maybe she is a home body that only goes to work and home, the hardest most impossible way to meet someone.

You’d have to get to know her better and find out what her standards are for dating.

I guess her parents told her to first find a job, and then find a nice decent guy to get married and form a family together. OR she's too shy to approach any guy and hopes that a decent guy could whisk her up her feet and have the same chemistry with her, making her fall in love.

Maybe every guy who she has had interactions with are jerks, some people aren’t lucky enough to find good people for some reason
