A doctor as in a PhD holder? Yes. A medical doctor, that depends, but is unlikely. Doctors keep long work hours and tend to be very busy. I'm a guy who would like to spend a lot of time with my partner, and her having to randomly give away our time for work would build a lot of resentment in me.

I'm not hating on the profession, I just know myself and a medical doctor might think I was toxic for insisting that our time be ours no matter what. I neither respect nor admire being a workaholic. Doctors probably need to be with people who do.

I have dated two woman doctors in the past. Nothing serious and nothing past a few dates. I would date one long term if it looked like we would be a good match. Probably not if she was real OCD or a total workaholic though.
