Girl late text after date sign of no interest?

I asked a girl I’ve know for years out now that I’m back in town. We’ve had trouble with texting and setting things up in the past but I had a coffee date a couple days ago. Next day I check in and she takes 24 hrs to reply. So I do the same and wait to text next day as well. We’re supposed to meet up again tomorrow, but I texted asking if she’d be down for early morning coffees like we’d talked about. We’re getting to day two of no response. More background: Years ago I sorta rejected her but i grew interest. We reconnected and have on and off flirting periods. We had issues last time I was in town where I go no response to a message and I just never said anything and she heavily apologized and had somewhat of a valid reason. But even when it’s just a call it never really seems to work out. I called her out for it a few months ago and said it was coming across that she was looking for attention. She said no obviously and said it was situational. She has some qualities I’d like to see in a girl long term. What do I do?

If she was really interested, she would not have waited 24 hours to give you a reply. This is indicative that she is not ready to go for subsequent dates. Also, the fact that those dates are just over the Christmas-New Year period could also be a reason why she is rather on the cold side.

It seems that both of you are not on the same frequency. Something in the past encounters led her to believe that she is probably better off staying distant.
