It's such an annoying thing to me, I've overheard my dad making jokes about it and even my friends are weirded out by it. I just dont understand why it matters so much to other people, if I'm happy isn't that all that matters? I just wish I was more accepted in that sense, it's not something I'd break up with my girlfriend over or anything but it does make me feel insecure about it sometimes. Speaking from the girl dating another girl side, I can tell you that people are always gonna find something to complain about. If it wasn't that and you were dating a cis woman then maybe it is about her cooking or something she says or does.
